triying out different shapes of tying
self-produced jerseys before the indigo bath

The self-produced jerseys are tied up with a strong linen yarn  or just knotted before putting them into the indigo bath. This means, that differnt ways of Shibori were used during the design development. During this work-process lots of experiences could be won as well as a own technique of the dyeing-process developed.

Next to the direct way of dyeing as well the contrawise way was choosen. The deep-blue shirt denim was tied up and put into a bleaching bath to distroy the colour and to achieve a negative way of dyeing.
